Bert Blyleven Game Used 1977 & 1978 Glove Texas Rangers Pittsburgh Pirates

Up for auction is my 1977-78 Game Used Baseball Glove I wore when I pitched for the Texas Rangers and Pittsburgh Pirates!
This is a Rawlings (Made in the USA) glove Fastback model XFG 1-P.  The glove is a "Deep Well Pocket" glove made with "Heart of the Hide" leather.  The "Basket Web" design has a patent number on the inside of the glove and this is "For The Professional Player".  Along the outside of the left thumb it says "Edge-U-Cated Heel" and a patent number under it.  Under this patent number is 2 dots.  The dots indicate the year of the glove based on the Blackhorse system used by Rawlings.  I attached the Blackhorse decoder in my photos.  Back in the day I would rip off the Rawlings logos and put my own markings on my glove.
I removed the Rawlings patches on the outside of this glove as well and colored in the circular patch area.  I wrote "Bly 28" on the outside of the glove above my thumb and then I switched it to "Bly 22" when I went to the Pirates.  I also wrote "Bly 28" on the outside of the middle finger and switched it to "Bly 22" when I went over to the Pirates.  It is faded but you can still see it.
I wrote it in black sharpie.
You can also see good wear on the glove.  The index finger has created wear on the outside of the glove and the inside the glove shows a lot of wear as well.
In 1977 I went 14-12 with a 2.72 ERA for the Rangers.  In 1978 for the Pirates I went 14-10 with a 3.03 ERA.  This is a very nice glove with a lot of memories attached to it.  Please message me with any questions before bidding.  I will include a Letter of Provenance signed by me stating I used this glove in 1977 and 1978 while pitching for the Texas Rangers and Pittsburgh Pirates.  As always, part of the proceeds of the sale of the glove go towards charities Gayle and I hold near and dear to our hearts.  Thank You for your support and God Bless!
